About - C.R. Wannamaker Law, PLLC

Attorney and founder Constance Wannamaker has two true passions in her life:  Defending the legal rights of immigrants and ultra-running.  Much like ultra-running, her love for immigration law requires focus, tireless dedication, and endurance.  Graduating with her B.A. degree in Spanish, Ms. Wannamaker joined VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America), where she worked for a year alongside migrant farmworkers and their families, and another year in a refugee resettlement agency.  Hearing the call to defend the rights of this often-under-represented demographic, she entered the legal studies program at Oxford University in Oxford, England.  Working in the Immigration Law Clinic where she helped asylum seekers and removal defense clinics, she knew she had found her calling.  Upon graduating with her J.D. from University of Maryland School of Law in 1999, she began her career fighting for the rights of immigrants in Texas.

For over twenty years, she has dedicated her life to going the distance for her clients.  Whether on the trail or in the court, Ms. Wannamaker has the endurance and commitment to overcome what might feel like impossible odds and remains passionate about supporting the rights of immigrant workers everywhere.
